The Lucas County Democratic Party Screening Committee will accept applications for party candidacy for Mayor of Toledo & six at-large city council seats through next week. Applications are available at 1817 Madison Ave & MUST be turned in by 4:30 pm on July 10. Interviews will be held on July 15th.

July 4 10th Annual Celebration at Harvard Circle at the intersection of Harvard, Glendale, Broadway & River Rd from 10 - noon with a parade around the fountain. July 15 Lucas County Democratic Party The Screening Committee will be interviewing the candidates for Mayor & Council -at-Large by appointment beginning at 5:30 pm.
July 15 Celebrating Toledo Business With Steve Steel will be at the Toledo Club from 5 - 7 pm located at Madison & 14th Streets. Suggested donation is $100 & sponsorships are available from $250 for Entrepreneur, $500 for Executive & CEO for $1,000.
July 16 LCDP Executive Board meeting will be held at 6 pm sharp. The meeting starts on time so please be present.
July 18 East Toledo Days will be held in the parking lot of Toledo Food Center in the River East Plaza from 10 am - 4:30 pm with a car & craft show. The Craft portion of the show will have 30 - 50 vendors/crafters with merchandise available for display & purchase. The Car show will feature "The Northwest Ohio Jeep Club". July 24, 2009 Lucas County Democratic Party Annual Golf Tournament Bob Wuest, Financial Chair of the Democratic Party & Chairman of the Golf Outing is the 1st to reserve the date for our 2009 Outing to be held at Spuyton Duyval again this year. Bob did a great job last year & we expect even more participation in 2009. Entry deadline is July 17th. Cost is $700 for a hole sponsor w/foursome. $600 for a 4some, $150 for a hole sponsor & only $25 for dinner only. Lunch is at 11:30 am with tee off at 12:30 pm.
