March 11    Wilma Brown District Budget Meeting District 1    will be held at Grace Church located at 3700 Dorr St., west of Byrne Rd from 6 - 8 pm. The purpose of the meeting is for: developing a common understanding of the current financial situation along with potential scenarios and options for addressing the deficit. City Council desires to collect citizen input regarding priority services And other budget related issues.

March 12    Jerusalem Township Men's Democratic Club     will have their Muskrat, Ham, & Kielbasa Dinners at the Jerusalem Township Hall located at 9501 Jerusalem Rd from 6 pm - ? for a $15 donation & tickets will be available at the door. There will be raffles & games for your entertainment.

March 16    MEET & GREET With Keila Cosme    for all Democratic State & County Chairpersons (Erie, Fulton, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky, Williams & Wood), Labor Leaders, the United Labor Committee, elected officials including Mayor Mike Bell,  will be held at IBEW Local 8 Industry Building located at 727 Lime City Rd next to the Union Hall. The event will take place from 5:30 - 8 pm with hors d'oeuvres  & refreshments. March 17    Lucas County Democratic Party Annual "Traditional" Jigg's Dinner   will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church located at 840 Superior St at a cost of $15 - just like last year.     Lunch will be served from 11:30 am til 1:30 pm & dinner served from 4:30 - 7:30 pm. Tickets are available by calling 419.246.9301 or can be purchased at the door. Come out & show your support for the Democratic Party & help get Democrats elected in 2010. This is a big year & WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!!!

March 20    Maumee Democrats Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser    will be held from 5 - 7 pm at the Maumee Senior Center located at 2430 S Detroit for a cost of $8 per person & $6 for Seniors & children from 5 - 17 years. Children under 5 are free. Active Duty Military Personnel are FREE. This is an inexpensive way to feed a family & support our Democratic Candidates.

March 20    A Woman's Place in History Women's Luncheon    will be held at UAW Local 12 Union Hall located at 2300 Ashland Ave for a $3 donation for admission. Topics: Environment, History, Politics & Thriftness. Food & beverages provided. There will be a fashion show - Outfits to be donated to women in need. Information tables from local resources. March 23    Fundraiser for Richard Cordray    will be held at the Navy Bistro at the Docks & hosted by George Gerken & David Simko. Private reception from 5 - 6 pm at a sponsor level of $1,500. March 27    FREE HEALTH FAIR sponsored by NAACP WIN Toledo Chapter    on Saturday from 10 am - 2 pm at UAW Local 14 Union Hall located at 5411 Jackman Rd., Toledo. There will be FREE health screenings - St Vincent's, FREE Massage - Leslie Simmons, FREE HIV Testing - Planned Parenthood & FREE Lead testing - Health Dept. For more info call 419.810.2225. March 29    Joe McNamara's 33rd Birthday fundraiser    for his State Senate District 11 campaign will be at the Toledo Club in the Corinthian Room from 5 - 7 pm. April 18    PONY Up for Councilwoman Lindsay Webb    will be opening weekend at Raceway Park in the Crazy Horse Clubhouse located at 5700 Telegraph Rd just south of Alexis at a cost of $50 each. That includes admission to Raceway Park, buffet supper, Official Racing Program, betting guide & lots of fun! No tickets will be issued. July 23, 2010    LCDP ANNUAL GOLF OUTING    Bob Wuest has the 2010 Golf Outing planned. It will again be at Spuyton Dujval & information will be coming out soon to make your reservations for this years event. This is a major fundraiser for the Democratic Party so we all need to get behind this event!  Democrats MUST WIN in 2010!
